Canned Food Drive – The canned food drive was a great success.  With the help of all the generous LCA families, we collected 7,156 items to bless local families in need.  The 11th & 12th class brought in 3,986 cans and will enjoy pizza and dodgeball with the local firefighters on December 3.

Dress Code Reminder - Now that the weather has turned cooler, students may wear a solid black, gray, or maroon outer jacket (no stripes/printing) without a school logo while inside, as long as an approved LCA logo shirt is visible underneath.  Non-LCA sweatshirts/hoodies must be removed upon entering the building.

Adopt-a-Staff-Member – Sign up to pray and encourage an LCA staff member. Pray over and encourage your staff member during the indicated week—show  encouragement however you like. Encouragement can be given in the form of an email, a handwritten notecard, small gifts, snacks, coupons for classroom volunteer time, virtual stickers or certificates, etc. Encouragement can be given all at once or a little each day - just let your staff member know they are cared about and prayed over. Penny Wars: Mr. and Miss LCA Edition – This year’s Penny Wars has a TWIST!  Beginning October 25, students from each grade will compete for the title of Mr. & Miss LCA. Each grade will compete for one week.
