Science Fair – Projects can be viewed Monday after school through Wednesday at NOON.  Winners will be announced Tuesday morning during opening assembly.

Participant Reminders – Science Fair Projects are due by Monday at 8:00 AM.  DO NOT display your name on the tri-fold or log book, your project will be given a number.  Judging will begin at 3:00 PM on Monday.  Plan to take your project home on Wednesday.

Girls on the Run:  LCA is looking for a volunteer coach to lead Girls on the Run this spring.  The head coach would need to be available to lead practices two days per week right after school as well as go through the program training. This is an awesome opportunity to work with our young girls. Contact the school office for more information.

LCA vs. Cancer Games & Senior Night – Join us Monday, February 21st, as LCA & Southern Boone battle on the court to raise money for two LCA families battling cancer.  Purchase special shirts, 50/50 raffle tickets, pink & green links, and concessions including special desserts.  Seniors will be recognized between games. Varsity Girls play at 5:30 PM and Varsity Boys play at 7:00 PM.

Penny Wars – Kindergarten and Pre-K will run Feb 22-25th, closing out our individual grade competition. We will begin the semi-finals the week of March 7th. See the attached flyer for more details.

Girls on the Run:  LCA is looking for a volunteer coach to lead Girls on the Run this spring.  The head coach would need to be available to lead practices two days per week right after school as well as go through the program training. This is an awesome opportunity to work with our young girls. Contact the school office for more information.

Christmas Store – The PTO will host a Christmas Store full of potential gifts for students to visit and shop for their friends and family members.  The store will be open during school hours Wednesday, 12/8 – Friday, 12/10, and also before and after the Christmas Program on the evening of the 10th.  Prices will range from $0.25 to approximately $15. Be on the lookout for a wish list and budgeting envelope to come home mid-week.
