200 Students – LCA continues to strive for excellence spiritually, academically and in all we do. In order to achieve all the goals God has for LCA, we need to increase our enrollment. The board shared their vision for our 2022-23 school year to begin with 200 students. Please join/agree with us in prayer this summer for the right students to join our LCA family. Basketball Open Gym – All boys in 7th-12th grade interested in playing basketball are invited to attend open gym on Monday nights from 6:00 – 8:00 PM starting this Monday, June 13.

Girls on the Run – LCA is looking for a volunteer Head Coach to lead Girls on the Run this fall. The head coach would need to be available to lead practices two days per week right after school as well as go through the program training. Student Service Hours – Mrs. Wilgus has communicated with all 7th-11th grade students who still need to complete service hours. Please check with your child. If he/she still needs service hours, they are expected to stay after finals until 3:00 each day until they are complete.

Field Day – Wednesday is our annual Field Day for elementary students. LCA will be providing a FREE picnic lunch and everyone may dress down for FREE. Pray for a SUNNY day. However, Field Day will happen rain or shine.

Awards Day/Celebration – Classroom awards will start promptly at 8:00 AM with ALL School Awards program following at 9:00 AM. Parents, friends and family are invited to the All School Awards. We will celebrate our new High School after the program with refreshments and tours of the new High School. Come and celebrate with our students and with what the Lord has blessed LCA.

Athletic Raffle – A huge thank you to all who supported LCA Athletics by buying a raffle ticket. Congratulations to Peydon Rifkin on winning the 1/2 beef.

Science Fair – Projects can be viewed Monday after school through Wednesday at NOON. Winners will be announced Tuesday morning during opening assembly.

Participant Reminders – Science Fair Projects are due by Monday at 8:00 AM. DO NOT display your name on the tri-fold or log book, your project will be given a number. Judging will begin at 3:00 PM on Monday. Plan to take your project home on Wednesday.

Girls on the Run: LCA is looking for a volunteer coach to lead Girls on the Run this spring. The head coach would need to be available to lead practices two days per week right after school as well as go through the program training.
