INFORMATION TO KNOW:
Work Day –We will have a work day TOMORROW, Saturday, August 12, from 8:00 AM till 1:00 PM or until done. This is a great opportunity to start getting your service hours completed. We will need to move furniture, clean rooms, assist teachers, etc. Please call the school office to let us know you will be coming. Thanks in advance for your help.
Hot Lunch– The Hot Lunch program begins on Monday, August 21. Please remind your student to pack their lunch the first week of school.
Athletic Meeting– The athletic meeting for students and their parents in grades 6-12 who would like to participate in sports this year is Monday, August 14, at 7:00 PM in the high school cafeteria. Coaches will be there to answer questions and hand out necessary paperwork.
Home Project - Looking for a service hour project to be done at home? Contact Sue Schloeman at sschloeman@lcaeagles.com to pick up books to be covered. You would have next weekend to complete the project and the books will be available sometime next week.
Open Positions– We have support staff positions available including maintenance, kitchen, lunch monitor, and after care. Those interested in joining our team this fall, please send resumes to Mrs. Wilgus at bwilgus@lcaeagles.com or call the school office to schedule an appointment.
21 Days of Prayer continues– Join us for 21 Days of Prayer from August 11-26. We will meet in the High School Cafeteria Monday-Friday mornings from 6:00-7:00 AM and Saturday morning from 9:00-10:00 AM. Can’t join us live? Trauma-Informed Care Speaker– Josh Varner will be speaking at Faith Christian Family Church’s Warrenton Campus at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, August 16. Click here for more details.
Retreat– The 7-12 grade retreat will be Friday, August 18, at High Hill Christian Camp. Students will be transported by bus from LCA and will return at the end of the school day. The cost is $20 and has been billed to your FACTS account. More information will be given out at Meet & Greet.
Spirit Wear Orders– The online store is open now through August 18, https://lcaeagles2324.itemorder.com/shop/home/. These items will be distributed at the end of August.
