PTO Fundraiser – Thank you to everyone who sold items for our technology program!

Veterans Memorial – Thank you to everyone who contributed to our medal challenge.  We raised $300, enough to buy 2 paver bricks!

Food Drive – We collected 1,014 cans of food!  THANK YOU!!

Christmas Program – Our Christmas Program is Friday, December 9th, at 6:30 PM.  Boys need to wear black pants and red shirts.  Girls need to wear black pants and green shirts.  The students in the Black Light Performance will be given more information by Mrs. Fox.

Lift – Our flag is stuck in the flag pole pulley.  If you have access to a lift, please contact the school office.

INFORMATION TO KNOW:

OPENINGS – We have an immediate opening for a maintenance/custodial position (> 30 hours). If you are interested or know someone who is, please contact Mrs. Wilgus.
 
WORK DAY – We have scheduled a Saturday work day – tomorrow.  In order for a successful start of school, we need YOUR help.  Please bring your work gloves and tools.  This is also a great way to get a jump start on those service hours!  If you would like to help on additional days, please contact the office for more information. THANK YOU for all who have already helped throughout the summer.
 
SERVICE HOURS AT HOME – We need some of our new books covered with contact paper.  If you are willing to cover books at school or take some home, please contact the office.
 
SOCCER - Signups for LCA Soccer are open. Practices and Games will run from late August to Mid- October. We will have teams for PK - 7th grades. We also will be continuing our Student Coaching Program this year for students in 8th - 12th grades interested in coaching opportunities. TALENT SHOW – This year’s talent show will be held Wednesday, May 25th, at 10:30 AM.  Parents are invited.  
 
FIELD DAY - We will be allowing students to have a free dress down day on Wednesday.  Please follow AHED dress code (shorts must be 3 inches or less above the knee, no leggings unless under shorts, and no tank tops).

FIELD DAY – On Wednesday, May 25th, at the conclusion of Field Day (approximately 1:00), we will have a Blue Bunny Ice Cream truck on campus.  The prices range from $1-$4.75.  What a great way to cool off after Field Day!
 
YEARBOOK – Yearbooks are on sale!  They cost $38, and orders are due by May 26.  An order form is attached. Also, if you would like to advertise your business, please contact Mrs. Wilgus for more information.
