Re-enrollment—March 31st is the last day to take advantage of the $50.00 discount for re-enrollment!  Thanks to all those who have re-enrolled so far. To begin the process, log in to teacherease.com. Families planning on applying for Flexible Tuition for the 2018-19 school year will need to complete the re-enrollment packet, in addition to FACTS and the FT paperwork.

Survey – We are asking all parents to complete our parent survey.  If you did not complete one during Parent/Teacher Conferences, you can access it on our website (lcaeagles.com) by clicking on the link at the top right labeled “LCA Parent Survey”, then follow the directions for completing the survey.  Thank you for taking the time to complete; your opinions matter to us.

Picture Day – Wednesday, April 4th is our Spring Picture Day.  Baseball players need to come dressed in their uniforms.  Soccer players, please bring your uniforms.  Students may wear AHED dress (Friday dress down apparel); please remember to follow the guidelines that are in the handbook.

There are only 2 X-Large LCA Championship Basketball Shirts available in the office for purchase.  The shirts are $15 each and are unified dress approved.

 INFORMATION TO KNOW:

Student Service Hours – If your 7th-12th grade student has done Community Service Hours over the summer or this 1st semester, those hours need to be reported to the office by December 15th to be credited to your student.

Christmas Store – Mrs. Colbert’s 4th & 5th Grade classes are trying to Buy a Block.  They will be selling items at their Christmas store the week of December 11th.  Students will have the opportunity to shop during the day.  Mrs. Colbert’s class will bag/package/wrap and deliver items at the end of each day (collecting the money at delivery). There are items for all ages, and students can buy for their siblings, parents, family members, friends or even themselves.  Items will cost between $.50 - $4.00.

LCA Outreach Club – Our 8th – 12th Grade Outreach Club is asking for your help to help Sydney, a local girl fighting cancer, with her bucket list of collecting toys for children at Cardinals Kids Cancer Center and Mercy Hospital.  Please bring your unwrapped toy or activity to school by December 15th.  Thank you for helping this bucket list become a reality.

LCA Outreach Club – Our 8th – 12th Grade Outreach Club is asking for your help to help Sydney, a local girl fighting cancer, with her bucket list of collecting toys for children at Cardinals Kids Cancer Center and Mercy Hospital.  Please bring your unwrapped toy or activity to school by December 15th.  Thank you for helping this bucket list become a reality.

Christmas Store – Mrs. Colbert’s 4th & 5th Grade classes are trying to Buy a Block.  They will be selling items at their Christmas store the week of December 11th.  Students will have the opportunity to shop during the day.  Mrs. Colbert’s class will bag/package/wrap and deliver it at the end of each day (collecting the money at delivery). There are items for all ages, and students can buy for their siblings, parents, family members, friends or even themselves.  Items will cost between $.50 - $4.00.

Board Meeting Update: Thanks to all who came to the meeting last night as Butch Clark shared the vision for the future of LCA. The decision was made to move forward with the building of a new addition to the school. More details to follow in the coming weeks.

Work Days - Start your annual service hours early. We have several work days scheduled before the start of school. We need everyone’s help to be ready for the new year. If you can’t make one of the scheduled days, but would like to help, please contact the school office for additional opportunities/needs.  THANK YOU to all those who have already helped over the summer—it has been greatly appreciated.
