INFORMATION TO KNOW:

Golf Tournament – Calling all golfers to save the date!  Saturday, September 14th is our annual Golf Tournament.  We need your help to get sponsors and golfers.  Attached is the flyer to distribute to friends, businesses or churches.  If you are interested in helping with the Golf Tournament, please contact Scott Dormeyer at bassindiesel@gmail.com.  Parents, we use these funds to help cover what tuition does not.  WE NEED YOUR HELP!!!!

Charcoal Grill – We need to borrow a few LARGE charcoal grills for the Golf Tournament.  If we can borrow your grill, please contact Scott Dormeyer at bassindiesel@gmail.com.

Canopy – We need to borrow 2 pop-up canopies for the Golf Tournament.  If we can borrow your canopy, please contact Scott Dormeyer at bassindiesel@gmail.com.

September Lunch Menu – September’s Lunch Menu is now available on teacherease.com.  Remember that you do not need to pre-order your child’s lunch; your child will order lunch that morning. However, students will not be able to order lunch if they have a lunch balance in excess of $30.

3-year-old Preschool – We are excited to announce that our preschool is now open to 3-year-olds on a 1-year trial basis.  If you would like to enroll your child, please contact the office for more information.  Also, if you know someone with a 3-year-old child, spread the good news!

Field Day for PreK – 6th Grades will be Tuesday, May 21st, starting with a picnic lunch at 11:45 AM.  The Talent Show will begin around 2:00 PM.

Just a reminder, 7th – 12th Grade Students need to complete ALL service hours by May 21st.

7th -  11th Grade Finals – Finals for 7th – 11th grade students are Tuesday, May 21st – Thursday, May 23rd. 

·         Tuesday - students will take finals for their 3rd, 5th, and 7th hour classes and dismiss at noon. 

·         Wednesday - students will take finals for their 2nd, 4th, and 6th hour classes and dismiss at noon

·         Thursday - students will have Chapel, take their Bible final, and complete year-end responsibilities and dismiss at noon.

If service hours have not been completed, students will need to stay after school; please pack your child a lunch.

Snow Make-up Days – The Board voted to use April 22nd and May 24th as snow make up days.  May 23rd will be a full day of school for elementary and a half day/testing day for high school. The last day of school will remain the same for seniors, PreK and Kindergarten.

Service Hours – Just a friendly reminder that 7th & 8th grade students need to complete 10 Service Hours (5 may be done outside LCA) and 9th – 12th grade students need to complete 20 Service hours (10 may be done outside LCA).  These hours must be completed by the last day of school.  Students may contact the office to arrange times to complete these hours.

Re-enrollment – Re-enrollment for the 2019-2020 school year has begun.  Please see separate email for instructions on how to enroll your child(ren).

Spelling Bee – Congratulations to our 1st Annual Spelling Bee Contest winners!  Ryder Carlisle won 1st place and Zeke Saufnauer won 2nd place in our Elementary contest.  Hope Kassebaum won 1st place and Austin Kuehn won 2nd place in our High School contest.

Snow Make-up Days – At last night’s meeting, the Board voted to use April 22nd and May 24th as snow make up days.  May 23rd will be a full day of school for elementary and a half day/testing day for high school. The last day of school will remain the same for PreK and Kindergarten.

Box Tops – The students who brought in the most this week for their class are: Brinley Kayser, Crane Lee, Randy Bauer, Faith Lemons, Van Carlisle, Reed Bauer, Levi Coovert, Zeke Saufnauer, Gavin Jepsen, Shae Lee, Sam Long, Jeremiah Fox, and David Vaclavik.  The winning class is 2nd GRADE!!!!

Service Hours – Just a friendly reminder that 7th & 8th grade students need to complete 10 Service Hours (5 may be done outside LCA) and 9th – 12th grade students need to complete 20 Service hours (10 may be done outside LCA).  These hours must be completed by the last day of school.  Students may contact the office to arrange times to complete these hours.
